This December, Novak Djokovic hosts a retreat at Amanjena in Marrakech, from 18-20 December 2026. Named Aman’s Global Ambassador and Wellness Advisor, Djokovic returns for his second in-person programme, following the success of his inaugural retreat at Amanyara. Spaces are strictly limited, and the retreat offers guests proximity to the mindset behind a legendary career and the discipline that sustains it.

A Champion’s Discipline

Since turning professional in 2003 and winning his first major at the 2008 Australian Open, Djokovic has assembled the most decorated résumé in men’s tennis: 24 Grand Slam singles titles, including a record ten Australian Open crowns, alongside seven Wimbledon, four US Open and three Roland-Garros titles. He holds the record for weeks spent at world number one, a mark that stretches to 428, and in 2024 he added an Olympic gold medal in Paris, completing what is known in the sport as the career Golden Slam.

What distinguishes Djokovic from most athletes of similar standing is the degree to which his longevity has been treated as a discipline in its own right. Sustaining that level of performance across more than two decades required a relationship with the body and mind that extended well beyond training, built on recovery, ritual and mental composure alongside physical conditioning. This dimension of his career carries directly into the programme at Amanjena.

What to Expect

Curated and hosted personally by Djokovic, the programme draws guests into his own practice. Tennis masterclasses sit alongside meditation, breathwork and restorative ritual, exploring the connection between mind and body and translating a champion’s inner discipline into something guests can carry beyond the court. For an audience accustomed to bespoke experiences, the uninterrupted access to a process most only observe from a distance gives the programme its value.

The days themselves move between exertion and stillness. Exclusive training sessions led by Djokovic offer rare insight into the techniques behind his game and those of others mentioned above, guided jointly by Djokovic and Amanjena’s wellness specialists, is designed to steady the mind and nervous system. Bespoke spa treatments follow, including a sixty-minute Beldi Hammam and a sixty-minute Therapeutic Argan Massage, alongside access to the resort’s extensive wellness facilities. Daily menus, curated personally by Djokovic, are designed to complement the retreat and support the body throughout each day, extending the same discretion and personalisation guests expect.

Just beyond Marrakech, Amanjena unfolds across peaceful gardens, olive groves and palm trees, with the High Atlas Mountains visible on the horizon. Its expansive grounds, clay tennis courts and dedicated wellness facilities create a natural setting for reflection and movement, offering the privacy to step fully away from distraction, a rarer luxury than the retreat’s more visible offerings.
